SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood
Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.
SASSA might be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency stated it really is alarmed with regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly as a SRD result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue established for intervention encounters a high influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to help the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
